Finally a post in 2009!
- So does anyone (Dems) in Congress pay taxes???!!!! Yeah, right...it was a mistake or somehow they didn't know or forgot. PISSES me off. Frak them!
- Speaking of frakking...while I like Battlestar Galactica, the storylines have been pissing me off. I'm glad the series is almost over. I'm tired of the "humans are losers" morality tale. Sigh.
- I'm in the middle of reading The Gift of Fear by Gavin De Becker. Very informative so far. Will help if I ever have to deal with a disgruntled employee and in this depressing economy, it could very well be a possibility. Thanks Democrat-controlled Congress!!
- Chinese New Year...or to be PC...Lunar New Year just happened. "Gung Hay Fat Choy" to everyone...even those who don't celebrate it because I am just that nice. Really. Yeah, I don't care if you don't believe in it. So just shut up and accept my offered good wishes graciously.
- I'm glad I was able to wake up in time from my nap during the Superbowl to watch the last few minutes of the 4th quarter of the Superbowl. Finally, some exciting action!
Ugh...I think I pulled a muscle in my arm after some heavy duty cleaning today. I hate house cleaning. You wipe up dust and it just gets dusty again about a 1/2 hour later! Why is there so much dust in this house?! It's almost Chinese Lunar New Year...that's why I'm trying to make an extra effort to clean up around here. My family doesn't do that much celebration for the Lunar New Year anymore. It seemed to be more festive when I was a kid...we'd go to the big parade and carnival in Chinatown. This was back when the parade and carnival used to be a huge deal...waaaaay, waaaay back in the day. We'd visit relatives and relatives would visit us bringing all the New Year goodies and most importantly, they'd hand out red envelopes/lucky money...woohoo! Although I never got as much money as some of my Asian friends (my family and relatives weren't exactly rich folk), but it was still fun and festive all the same.
